 At Startup Weekend Ōtaki, you’ll experience a turbo-charged crash course in launching a business. Across a long weekend, you’ll:

• Brainstorm ideas and form teams
• Pitch to seasoned mentors, investors and sponsors
• Work hands-on to validate and prototype your concept
• Share skills, swap feedback and build real momentum

Participation Guidelines

1. Collaborative spirit
By joining, you’re part of an open, supportive community. Feel free to outline your idea at a high level if you’d rather keep details confidential.

2. Respect and professionalism
Treat fellow participants, mentors and the venue with kindness and care. You’re responsible for your own actions - and any accidental damage.

3. Liability waiver
You agree not to hold event organizers, volunteers or sponsors responsible for any injury, loss or mishap during the weekend.

4. Media consent
We’ll be capturing photos and videos throughout the event for future promotion. Your presence may appear in our marketing materials.
